Spelt is an ancient grain which has a mild, nutty flavour. The whole spelt grain is used to make our Organic Wholemeal Spelt Flour. Although spelt contains gluten it is easier to digest and may be tolerated by people with wheat and gluten intolerance.

Spelt is a good source of protein and fibre and contains some minerals such as iron, magnesium, and zinc.

Uses:
Wholemeal Spelt Flour can be used in baking for breads, cakes, biscuits and pastries.

Australia.

Wholemeal Spelt flour.

Spelt (contains gluten). May contain traces of other allergens due to possible cross contamination.

Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigerate in warmer climates.
