The Paleo River organic salt farm produces a range of salt based products in the semi-desert region of Doodlakine, Western Australia. The Desert Amber Salt is handpicked; a product of the outback sun and mineral rich brine derived from an ancient underground paleochannel.
Made in open clay pans exposed to nature. Every endeavour is made to remove all clay from the salt, but some traces may remain.
Totally pure and natural.
No fossil fuels used, solar only.
No chemicals used, unlike traditional salts.
Balanced acidity and mineral content provides an excellent flavour.

Uses:
When used as a seasoning, brings out the full flavour of food. Add the Amber Desert Salt is during the cooking process and keep on the table to use as a garnish.
