Puy Lentils

Puy Lentils or French Lentils have a delightful mild peppery, nutty flavour. These small grey/green lentils hold their shape after cooking better than other lentils and are renown for having the best texture and flavour of all the different lentil varieties.

These delicious lentils are super nutritious and are an excellent source of protein and fibre. Lentils are high in B vitamins, including folate, iron, magnesium, potassium, and zinc.

Cooking: 1 cup of lentils to 3 cups water. Simmer covered for 20 - 30 minutes until tender.
