Organic Psyllium Husks come from the outer covering of the seed from the Plantago ovata plant. The plant is grown world-wide but is most common in India.
The Psyllium Husk is a soluble fibre and a prebiotic. It may help lower cholesterol levels and relieve constipation.
Uses:
Add a teaspoon of Psyllium Husks to a glass of water, juice or coconut milk. Stir Psyllium Husks into smoothies, porridge, muesli, granola. Psyllium Husks can be used as an ingredient in bread, muffins and biscuits. It can be added to stews and soups as a thickener.
