Fennel Seed, Whole Organic

Organic Whole Fennel Seed has a mild anise or licoricey flavour and is highly aromatic. It is a handy herb which enhances the flavour of many foods and is a pantry staple.

Uses:
Fennel Seed has many applications and can be used whole or ground. It is used in Italian sausage making and pickling. Fennel enriches vegetable, fish and meat dishes. In combination with other herbs and spices it makes an excellent rub or marinade for meat and fish. So versatile, this spice is even used in desserts and baked goods. Lightly toasting the Fennel Seeds releases the aromatic oils and boosts the flavour.
