Nigella, Organic (Black Cumin)

Nigella seeds are small black seeds that are peppery in taste with a slightly bitter oniony flavour. Once toasted they become sweeter.

Nigella seeds are also known as black cumin or black onion seeds.

Nigella is an ancient spice which is grown in many parts of the world and used in many different cuisines, Indian, Middle Eastern, and North African. 

Cumin seeds are powdered and used as a traditional medicine to aid digestion and to treat several diseases.

Uses:
Nigella enhances stews, soups, gravies and pickles. It is often found in chilli and spice blends and is added to some breads and cheeses.

Nigella Sativa.

No known allergens. May contain traces of other allergens due to possible cross contamination.

Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Up to 12 months when stored as above.
