Mung Beans are legume and have a slightly sweet, nutty flavour. They are a small green bean with a white speck. They are typically cultivated in East, Southeast and South Asia and are used in both savoury and sweet dishes.

Mung beans are one of the best plant-based sources of protein. They are full of fibre, rich in essential amino acids and contain essential minerals.

Uses:
Mung beans are used in many Asian cuisines. They are added to soups, curries and some desserts. Sprouted Mung Beans are delicious, highly nutritious and easy to make. Add the sprouted Mung Beans to salads and stir fries.
