Jasmine Rice is a long-grained rice with a sweet nutty flavour and a delicate buttery fragrance. When cooked correctly it has a light fluffy texture and is the perfect accompaniment for many dishes.
Cooking: Rinse the rice. Use the absorption method. 1 cup of Jasmine Rice to 1 ¼ - 1 ½ cups of water. Use a very slow simmer until the water is absorbed, 10 – 15 minutes.

Uses:
Jasmine Rice is superb with many Asian dishes. Fantastic when served with stir fries, curries, satay and stews. Refrigerate for a day or so after cooking and make delicious fried rice.
