Gunpowder Temple Of Heaven Tea

Gunpowder is tightly rolled green leaf that resembles tiny gunpowder pellets. The tightly rolled leaves unfurl after brewing. This full-flavoured brew has a round mouthfeel with a smoky taste, and is a popular green tea served in cafes. Our all-natural green tea will leave you feeling satisfied!

1 teaspoon to 250ml, water temperature 80C, steep for 1 – 2 mins. Avoid boiling water as this causes bitterness. High caffeine.

Gunpowder tea is a versatile green tea that can be served hot or cold with or without milk and honey or sugar. Gunpowder tea is used to make a deliciously refreshing Moroccan mint tea.
