Ground Ginger has a pleasant pungent, peppery aroma and a delicious warm, spicy and slightly sweet flavour. It is a versatile spice that is used in both sweet and savoury dishes and across many cuisines.
Uses: Ground Ginger is used in curries, rubs, stir fries, marinades, sauces, baked goods, dessert and pickles. Old favourites include gingerbread and ginger beer. Try adding a pinch of Ground Ginger to chai or herbal tea.
