Falafel Mix
Falafel Mix is a quick and easy way to make delicious, nutritious, protein rich falafels.
Cooking: Place a cup of falafel mix, half a chopped onion and parsley or herbs in a food processor. Blend well. Add water (approx. 1 cup) until it forms a thick paste. Refrigerate for 30 – 60 mins for best results. Spoon into walnut sized balls. Deep or shallow fry or bake.
Uses:
Add Falafels to vege burgers, salads, pita pockets and wraps. Add your favourite dressing – hummus, natural yoghurt or dip.

The ingredients vary depending on the supplier. May contain chickpeas, yellow pea flour, fava beans, onion, garlic powder, curry powder, parsley, spices, salt and leavening agents.

Storage:
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Refrigerate in warmer climates.
Shelf Life:
Up to 12 months when stored as above. Make note of expiry date, listed in store.
