Whole Cloves have a hot, pungent taste and a spicy aroma. They are a versatile spice used in many countries in beverages, sweet and savoury dishes.
Cloves evoke memories of Christmas – baked ham dotted with cloves, fruit mince pies, mulled wine and perhaps even oranges studded with cloves.
Cloves add a delightful fragrance to a potpourri or pomander.
Uses:
Cloves are used to flavour to meats, curries and stewed fruit. Add cloves to chai lattes, marinades and rubs, pickles and mulled wine. Cloves work well with cinnamon, cumin, allspice, vanilla, citrus peel, star anise and pepper.

Sri Lanka.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
