Chinese Five Spice

Chinese 5 Spice is a mixture of five spices. The flavour of these spices represents the five traditional Chinese elements of sweet, sour, saltiness and savoury. Traditionally used in Chinese cooking it is also used in other Asian countries and some Middle Eastern recipes. 

Uses:
Chinese 5 Spice is used to flavour meat, fish, and chicken. Add to stir fries, marinades and rubs.

Origin:
Manufacture from local and imported ingredients.

Ingredients: 
Cassia cinnamon, fennel, black pepper, star anise and cloves.

Allergens:
No known allergens. May contain traces of other allergens due to possible cross contamination.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Shelf Life:
Up to 12 months when stored as above. Make note of expiry date, listed in store.
