Burghul, Coarse Cracked Wheat
Burghul or bulgur is made from par boiled, dried and cracked wheat. It is a staple in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine. Burghul has a nutty flavour. Naked Pantry stocks fine and coarse grain Burghul.

Uses:
The most well-known Burghul recipes are tabbouleh and kibbeh. In tabbouleh it adds flavour and crunch to the salad. In kibbeh it is mixed with meat and other ingredients to form the outer kibbeh shell. Burghul has many other uses.
Fine Burghul is used in salads, pilaf and as an alternative to rice. Coarse grains are used in stews, soups, casseroles and for stuffing.
