Borlotti Beans, also called cranberry beans, are an attractive, speckled bean. When cooked, these lovely plump beans have a superb creamy texture. This versatile bean can be substituted for any other kidney bean.
Borlotti beans are high in proteins, fibre and minerals such as potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, and calcium.
Cooking: Soak overnight for best results. Boil rapidly for 10 minutes then simmer for 45-50 minutes or until the beans are tender.
