Almond meal is used in sweet and savoury dishes. It is an important ingredient in French cuisine – clafoutis, marzipan, frangipane and friand are some examples. Almond meal can be added to breakfast smoothies or sprinkled over muesli. Use as a partial or whole substitute for wheat flour in recipes that do not require the structure and elasticity of gluten.
