These Sunflower Seeds are Australian grown and insecticide free. Perhaps the best of all seeds, sunflower kernels have a mild, nutty flavour and a tender, buttery texture.
Sunflower seeds are a good source of protein, minerals (including selenium), Vitamin E and are rich in antioxidants.
Sprinkle them on your salads, granola, stir-fries. Stir them into yogurt, pop them into sandwiches, rice, pasta, or knead them into your dough.
Uses:
Sunflower seeds can be eaten raw or roasted. Roasting will enhance the flavour. Eat as a tasty snack or add to muesli and trail mixes. Sprinkle on salads or yoghurt. Add to stir fries, baked goods, rice, pasta and bread.
